About the role
Fusion Technology is a performance-driven HUBZone Small Business providing comprehensive IT services and solutions to mission-critical US Government programs and the Intelligence Community. This remote position supports data integration efforts for federal agencies.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related development experience.
- Experience creating and maintaining data applications and tools that support the data integration process.
- Experience with Web Services Description Languages (WSDLs), Java KeyStore (JKSs), security certificates, and encryption.
- Proficiency with web services, including SOAP and RESTful protocols.
- Strong background in developing and troubleshooting software tools, applications, and utilities using Python, PHP, JavaScript, and configuring/maintaining Windows, Unix, and Linux systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining software data integration tools in Java, Python, and C#.
- Experience creating and maintaining databases, including PostgreSQL, Linux SQL, SQLite, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and Oracle.
- Proficiency in configuring thin client executable code that uses SFTP to send XML files.
- Experience installing and configuring HTTPS web servers (cloud and on-premises) to handle static/dynamic content and manage Java Servlets/JSP (e.g., Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server).
- Experience with transforming languages and schemas, including XML, XSLT, XSD, and DTD.
- Knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting Java applications and creating APIs for information sharing.
- Experience producing data integration applications from various data sources to specified XML formats using data standards and validation tools.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting SFTP data connections.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, particularly FedRAMP-compliant Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud.
- Knowledge of LE data and IEPD specifications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
- Install and upgrade computer components and software; manage virtual servers; integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems/resolutions, prioritizing issues, and assessing impact.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize automated tools to support all components of data integration services.
- Support and maintain web services and SFTP connections.
- Develop and use ETL products and other automated data integration tools.
- Recommend and implement standardization in the data integration process.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade existing data integration projects, including new vendor solutions.
