Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Fusion Technology, a performance-driven HUBZone Small Business founded in 2007, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to system-level design, optimize performance, and provide full lifecycle support for software. This role is located in Quantico, VA, and requires a Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system-level design to optimize overall system performance and reliability.
• Translate design into computer software.
• Test, debug, and refine computer software to produce the required product.
• Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation.
• Enhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency.
• Provide full lifecycle support for software, including user interaction.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (additional five years of experience can supplement this requirement).
• Two (2) or more years of technical experience as a software developer.
• Experience deriving design specifications for functional activities.
• Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and test complex software to satisfy design objectives.
• Experience in multi-tier software design and application.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C, C#, and Java.
• Database design and implementation experience, preferably with SQL Server.

Preferred Qualifications

• REST service or web server experience in service/system interconnectivity in an enterprise environment.
