Senior Software Engineer
About the role
The software team at Fluke Corporation is looking for a software engineer to join the team delivering an exciting game-changing solution for our industry. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a team working on cutting edge technologies designing, and delivering brand-new products for our industry, then this might be the position for you. We are looking for a senior engineer to join our team and help us develop our next generation test and measurement solutions. You’ll be heavily involved in developing and iterating on the back-end services using AWS stack that will empower technicians around the world to perform their jobs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop our highly scalable and modular back-end services using JavaScript / Python and AWS micro services stack.
- Participate in design, development, review, documentation and testing of our application.
- Work closely with the product and design teams to refine feature requirements.
- Own end-to-end technical deliverables from feature creation through the CI/CD process and through production release.
- Work closely with our product and test partners to ensure we are measuring and constantly delivering a product meeting customer need with high quality.
- Be a culture carrier for rapid build/test iterations with high quality delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ years of experience delivering highly scalable full stack solutions, with a good understanding of microservices architecture and AWS Serverless technologies.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript. Python is a plus.
- Experience working with web frameworks such as Flask and / or Node.JS.
- Experience working with any relational database such as PostgreSQL/My SQL/ Oracle/MS SQL Server. PostgreSQL preferred.
- Experience working with AWS Lambdas and other AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Cognito, IAM, EC2, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk and CloudFormation.
- Experience in React is a plus.
- Demonstratable experience integrating with highly scalable projects on AWS.
- Ability to perform in an agile team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in a team.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 109,700.00 - 183,200.00
