Responsibilities
- Works closely with the product team to develop high-quality code to meet product requirements.
- Integrates AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.
- Writes effective technical user stories and ensures non-functional requirements like performance and scaling are met.
- Actively resolves defects and manages technical debt while leveraging AI for automated bug detection and refactoring.
- Practices DevOps methods like CI/CD, SDLC automation, and proactive monitoring.
- Identifies opportunities to implement LLMs or AI features within our platform to enhance the user experience for distributors and restaurants.
- Participates in code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming.
- Evaluates emerging AI technologies continually to identify trends and best practices to strengthen Cut+Dry development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS or 4-5 years of relevant developer experience.
- 3+ years of experience in developing high-performance, scalable applications in an agile environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in leveraging AI workflows (LLMs, prompt engineering for code, or AI-integrated IDEs) to enhance personal and team productivity.
- Extensive hands-on experience in modern programming languages: Java, JavaScript, PHP, React, Python, GraphQL, MySQL.
- Strong experience building and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Fluency in DevOps, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
