About the role
The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of innovative software solutions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-performance software solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and secure systems.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with object-oriented design and software architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Passionate about technology and committed to continuous learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL).
