Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices and applications using Golang.
• Design and implement features for dynamic network management, including automatic failover, load balancing, and path selection based on real-time network conditions.
• Build scalable APIs and services for network automation, policy enforcement, and optimized traffic routing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters and applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging best practices.
• Write comprehensive tests to ensure the reliability and stability of code.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software-defined networks, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through technical leadership, code/design reviews, and documentation of best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven experience in developing applications using Golang with proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with client-go and Kubernetes API.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and logging tools like the ELK stack.
• Understanding of SD-WAN architecture and smart network principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues, especially at the network layer.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

$157,600 - $197,000 USD
