Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise-scale system architectures, driving high cohesion, modularity, and API design standards.
- Lead security initiatives: threat modeling, secure architecture reviews, remediation planning, and collaboration on compliance audits.
- Champion performance engineering: establish profiling workflows, capacity-planning practices, and proactive tuning across distributed environments.
- Arcitect and enforce engineering excellence: coding standards, automated testing strategies (unit, integration, contract), CI/CD pipelines, and release orchestration.
- Design and operate fault-tolerant, self-healing systems; build observability frameworks and lead on-call rotations and incident management.
- Facilitate Agile transformation: coach Scrum/Kanban teams, run sprint ceremonies, drive backlog prioritization, and instill continuous improvement mindsets.
- Integrate AI capabilities into development lifecycles: leverage AI-assisted coding tools, automate testing with ML, and apply intelligent monitoring for anomaly detection.
- Mentor and guide other engineers on architecture, coding practices, and career growth; host regular technical reviews and brown-bag sessions.
- Partner with Product, Security, SRE, and DevOps to align roadmaps, drive end-to-end solutions, and evaluate emerging technologies.
