Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join a small team of full-stack developers focused on developing HVAC home automation and security systems. Work on backend services, websites, and database design, collaborating with device engineers, business partners, and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack software for various platforms and technologies
• Lead and mentor other engineers
• Engage in the research, evaluation, and application of new technologies and methodologies
• Exercise good judgment and work independently on self-directed tasks
• Bring ideas to product development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading projects to completion
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Experience with C#, .NET Core

Qualifications

• Experience with database design and development

Skills

Experience with high-availability, high-throughput services, enterprise-scale microservices architecture, external facing APIs, third-party platform integrations, distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka, and JavaScript development using frameworks like Ember/React/Angular are a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this opportunity is $145,000—$155,000 USD.

Work from the office 4 days a week.
