Senior Software Engineer, Android
About The Role
Drive the growth of World ID and World App by introducing new verification methods, enhancing existing ones, simplifying enrollment, and enabling seamless account management to reduce churn.
Support real-world use cases by developing product features, SDKs, cloud integrations, and privacy-preserving solutions for securely attesting personal information.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Operations, Risk, Data Science, and other Engineering teams in the company.
Build core technologies and infrastructure to optimize security, privacy, compliance, reliability, and development velocity for World.
Advance an open and decentralized platform for empowering third-party developers to integrate World without relying on proprietary technologies and single points of failure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, debug, scale and maintain key software components to meet high standards and team objectives.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing natively for Android.
- A track record of writing exceptional software, tackling hard problems, and coming up with elegant solutions.
- Collaboration, prioritization, and organization skills, ability to operate in ambiguous and changing conditions, knack of identifying and relentlessly focussing on the most important things, and getting things done.
- Pick up, master and apply new knowledge and skills.
- Express yourself clearly, crisply and simply, in writing and in speech.
- Experience voicing customer feedback into product solutions (engineering makes substantive contributions to product definition).

Pay
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $221,000 - $260,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
