Summary Role Overview Weber Blackstone is looking for a talented, driven, and experienced Android engineer to serve as the technical lead for the Weber Connect app, which turns our grills into connected products and makes great outdoor cooking easier and more fun. This role owns Android's technical direction: architecture, code quality, and the standards the team builds against. This is deep hardware-adjacent work. You'll partner with Firmware teams on the communication protocols between app and grill, the Server teams on how state syncs to the cloud, and with iOS and the Product teams to keep the experience consistent across platforms and products. You'll also improve what's already in customers' hands which includes a growing portfolio of connected grills, probes, and accessories that our customers rely on for weeknight dinners, backyard parties, and the celebrations they plan their year around. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office days at our Palatine, IL campus.
