Senior Software Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Leading development of our marketing offer platform, scaling it across brands and enabling experimentation through configurable, user-specific contextual logic.
• Designing and evolving our payment and paywall architecture.
• Implement support for diverse payment options and entitlement logic.
• Architecting and maintaining user context services that collect, evaluate, and expose rich behavioral data.
• Ensure data quality and alignment with privacy best practices.
• Driving technical excellence through design and code reviews, mentoring peers, developing reusable frameworks, and ensuring scalable and maintainable implementations.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across product, marketing ops, and data teams to align technical initiatives with business goals.
• Contribute to roadmaps, technical planning, and long-term strategy.

Requirements

• Master’s in Computer Engineering, or closely related, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in Software Engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or closely related, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the field, or any qualifying combination of education, training, or experience.
• Also requires 2 years of experience with each of the following:
• Languages/Frameworks: JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, GraphQL
• Database Tools: MySQL
• Development / Testing Tools: VS Code, GitHub, Jest, React Testing Library
• Configuration/Management Tools: AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront), Docker, Terraform, Datadog.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position with 4 days a week in the office required.
