About the role
This role is an individual contributor people-leader equivalent responsible for technical delivery, solution design, and execution oversight without direct people management.
Responsibilities
- Partners closely with product, architecture, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant application delivery.
- Work with fast-paced delivery teams to execute on timelines.
- Closely work with leader to communicate progress and challenges.
- Drive modernization initiatives and roll up your sleeves in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience in enterprise environments including:
- Lead end-to-end complex technical deliveries
- Act as primary technical liaison across Product, Analytics, QA and DevOps
- Own risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
- Partner with Enterprise/Platform Architecture to align solutions to standards
- Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and integration standards
- Drive modernization initiatives (framework upgrades, cloud migration, refactoring)
- Hands-on expertise in modern application development (Java/Spring, APIs, Angular)
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technical deliveries
- Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, security, and production support
- Experience handling projects in Agile environment
- Ensure SDLC, security scans, audit, and regulatory requirements are met
- Support/track roadmap execution and dependency management
Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. OCP, GCP), Kubernetes specifically from a software development perspective
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. OCP, GCP), Kubernetes specifically from a software development perspective

Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $92,700.00 - $185,400.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
