Senior Software Developer - Precision Fires

About the role

The candidate will be responsible for design and development of embedded software for military systems. The candidate will perform development activities for the full life cycle of a software program.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis
• Design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support
• Participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings
• Work with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software
• Work in a team environment, with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy embedded systems
• Receive timely feedback on software implementation by working directly with the customer, ensuring Agility and delivering a software product that fills immediate needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years’ experience; additional six (6) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle)
• Active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required
• C/C++ and other Object Oriented Languages
• Agile Development Experience, specifically Scrum
• Continuous Integration and Automation
• OO programming and design, including writing unit tests
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, Git, SVN, Linux, MS Visual Studio
