About the role

The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer with React and Python experience to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position supports our Navy customer and requires the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Excellent problem solver
• Experienced in React 15+
• Typescript experience
• Python experience a must
• Takes pride in writing clean reusable code
• At least one major project involving React under your belt
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases or data platforms
• Experience with data analysis, including data exploration, statistical analysis, or business intelligence
• Understanding of frontend development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate user needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance Required
• Experienced in React 15+
• Typescript experience
• Python experience a must

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years' React experience
• 3+ years' experience leading development teams
• Experienced in Scrum
• Experience contributing to open-source projects
• Experience with a static typed language such as C#, C, C++, or Java
• Experience working on both Front-End and Back-End technologies such as web frameworks and databases
• Bachelors' or higher in CS or related field
