About the role
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) seeks a qualified individual to lead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of IT applications. This role requires expertise in web and SQL development, .NET development, and relational database management.
Responsibilities
- Build and support software solutions across design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and develop advanced T-SQL queries and optimized database objects with proper documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to assess business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain system integrations using appropriate tools and services to ensure efficient data flow between internal platforms and external services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of technology, tools, and development processes.
- Participate in developing and implementing goals, work plans, performance measures, and service delivery improvements while working well with others and performing effectively under pressure.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health rules, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience, may substitute for the degree.
- Web or SQL development certifications highly desirable.
- Experience with AI-assisted tools.
- At least three (3) years of .NET development; AI/LLM integration preferred.
- Five (5) years of relational database and Entity Framework experience, ideally with SQL Server.
Qualifications
- Four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- Web or SQL development certifications highly desirable.
- Experience with AI-assisted tools.
- At least three (3) years of .NET development; AI/LLM integration preferred.

Schedule
