Senior Software Developer

About the role

In this role, you will improve how developers work by creating advanced tooling that reduces friction, raises code quality, and speeds delivery. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, building capabilities that help developers move faster through smarter IDE experiences, better automation, and more effective engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-assisted IDE and developer tooling capabilities • Integrate agent-based systems for repetitive developer tasks such as code reviews, unit test generation, and code quality analysis • Experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents to improve development workflows • Integrate new tools into existing development platforms and pipelines • Collaborate with customers and teammates to gather feedback and iterate quickly • Measure and document the effectiveness of tooling improvements

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: • Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas • 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline • Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor’s degree Required Skills: • Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages • Experience with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems • Hands-on experience with AI or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents • Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling • Solid understanding of software development workflows and best practices

Benefits

Compensation Range: $203,000.00 - $260,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
