Senior Software Delivery Analyst

About the role

Sweetwater is seeking a driven, motivated, and passionate Sr. Software Delivery Analyst to join our Shared Services team. As a Delivery Analyst, your primary responsibility is to deliver value efficiently and effectively to our customers by understanding their needs, motivations, and workloads. You will break down desired outcomes into deliverable pieces of value, organize and align teams within Sweetwater, and build strong relationships across all levels of the business to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

Collaboration with Software Engineering Managers is essential to break down work, bring clarity to projects, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and manage the engineering backlog. You will define and communicate project deadlines, optimize delivery practices through coaching and experimentation, and ensure the team operates efficiently while focusing on business outcomes. Your role involves data analysis, technical analysis, and project management to measure alignment with business values and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and software projects for stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
• Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
• Ensure ongoing communication plans while leading customer and technical meetings.
• Establish project milestones and timelines, and provide regular progress updates.
• Work closely with engineering leadership to identify critical systems and essential features needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to execute low-impact scripts and contribute to data-related tasks within projects.
• Leverage relevant tools to analyze and interpret data, extracting valuable insights to inform decision-making processes.
• Champion an outcome-focused approach, measuring deliverables against business values and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 4-7+ years of experience as a Software Delivery Analyst, Business Analyst, or Software Project Manager.
• Experience guiding and managing technical projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss technical and business challenges with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Jira or other project management/delivery tools.
• Experience with SQL or other data tools (a plus).
• Experience using scripting languages such as Python (a plus).
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
