About ThoughtSpot

ThoughtSpot is the leader in Agentic Analytics, helping organizations turn natural language into governed, trusted insight through Spotter and our broader analytics platform. Headquartered in Mountain View, California, with hubs across North America, EMEA, and India, we're a fast-growing B2B SaaS company built on continuous innovation and a genuine passion for making AI work for the people who use it every day.

About the Role

Do you live and breathe social media culture, always ahead of the next platform shift, algorithm change, or cultural moment that matters? Do you believe the best B2B brands don't just distribute content, they build conviction, turning complex enterprise technology into stories that resonate, spark conversation, and move audiences to act?

ThoughtSpot is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager who is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and operator. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role reporting directly to the VP of Global Communications, with regular face time with C-suite leaders who are active, invested participants in our brand narrative. You won't be executing someone else's vision — you'll be the architect of it.

As an AI-first company, we look for individuals who bring a mindset of continuous innovation and a passion for leveraging modern AI tooling to scale content creation and optimize channel distribution. The successful candidate will excel in a high-growth environment, partnering closely with internal executives, external industry influencers, and cross-functional marketing teams. If you possess a strong sense of ownership, deep domain expertise, and a relentless drive to elevate our brand on the global digital stage, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Organic Social Media Strategy

  • Develop and own ThoughtSpot's global organic social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, and Instagram, anchored in a product-first point of view that makes complex AI and analytics capabilities visually compelling, accessible, and genuinely shareable.
  • Build a clear perspective on how organic storytelling and paid amplification work together, serving as an internal strategic counterpart to our paid digital agency.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, and Creative on social-first activations — events, launches, real-time moments — that elevate the broader marketing strategy and ensure continuity from always-on content through integrated campaigns to demand generation.

Executive and C-Suite Partnership

  • Serve as the strategic social advisor to ThoughtSpot's executive team, including the CEO and C-suite.
  • Develop and manage executive social presences, craft thought leadership content, build editorial calendars, and coach leaders on platform best practices — translating business priorities into social narratives that build category authority and strengthen ThoughtSpot's voice in the market.

Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and analyze cross-platform social media metrics to measure success, unlock performance insights, and inform future campaign strategies.
  • Prepare regular, data-driven reports for leadership on engagement, audience growth, and business impact.

Program Management

  • Own the budget for social tools including Sprout Social and Sprout Employee Advocacy, and creator partnerships.
  • Serve as the company's internal expert on social media trends, platform algorithm shifts, paid/organic integration strategy, and best practices, and communicate proactively to the broader business.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role at a B2B technology company
  • Deep platform expertise across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, and Instagram, with a strong understanding of how organic and paid efforts complement each other
  • A strong point of view on executing a "product-first" social strategy that makes complex B2B enterprise software visually engaging, digestible, and desirable
  • Experience developing executive social presences and advising senior leaders, with comfort operating in high-visibility, fast-moving environments
  • An innovative, AI-first mindset, with demonstrated experience using modern AI tools to enhance content generation, asset optimization, and social listening
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with product marketing, webinar, event, field, communications, and demand generation teams
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a sharp eye for design and video production elements matching a premium enterprise software brand voice

Pay

The pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $195,000
