Senior Social Media Manager

About the Role
You will help lead Babylist's day-to-day social presence across content, community management, and platform strategy, with primary ownership of TikTok. Reporting to the Director of Social and Creator Marketing, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on production and collaborate across brand partnerships, acquisition, editorial, creative, PR, and influencer marketing.
Responsibilities
- Lead a strategic overhaul of Babylist's social presence, improving content quality, platform performance, and cultural relevance.
- Own TikTok end to end, including trendspotting, creator collaboration, content production, and performance optimization.
- Storyboard, shoot, edit, and optimize platform-native short-form video.
- Create useful and emotionally resonant content for expecting families.
- Partner across PR, influencer, brand partnerships, editorial, acquisition, and creative to align messaging and amplify campaigns.
- Establish and track KPIs, using performance data to refine strategy and demonstrate impact.
- Turn comments, DMs, audience signals, and cultural observations into content that builds trust and loyalty.
- Develop scalable systems, resourcing plans, and a strong creative foundation for Babylist’s social programs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of social media experience at a consumer-facing brand with 500,000+ followers.
- Deep understanding of organic TikTok content, trends, creators, and platform culture.
- Hands-on experience storyboarding, filming, editing, and optimizing short-form video.
- Fluency across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit.
- Proven ability to scale social programs, grow audiences, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience translating social insights into content and strategy decisions.
- Experience with creators, influencers, branded content, and partnerships.
- Daily use of AI to improve content, workflows, trend forecasting, and performance insights.
Pay
Starting salary: $159,775–$191,730, plus a target 20% annual bonus and competitive equity.

Location: Remote, with regular production work at Babylist's SoHo showroom in New York City, NY.
