About the role

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of Lead Teachers and teaching staff, including managing schedules, timecards, training and development, performance management, and employee relations support.
• Ensure your site is operating effectively; maintain licensing, safety, family billing, subsidy, and manage operational costs.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, schools and district leaders, state licensing and subsidy agencies, community contacts, and corporate support partners.
• Grow business by expanding enrollment and opening new locations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience and 1 year teaching or childcare experience
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask by leveraging demonstrating strong organizational skills to lead multiple situations effectively
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role
• Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors as needed
• Be able to assume postures in low levels to interact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity

Qualifications

• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
• State licensing knowledge and subsidy program knowledge preferred
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and families in English
