About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the site civil engineering design of facilities in support of a variety of markets including Technology, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, Federal, Corporate/Commercial, Education and Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Civil Engineer Of Record (EOR) in responsible charge of preparation of specifications and civil engineering plans for construction.
- Lead small project teams of civil engineers and designers and provide technical expertise and project oversight.
- Design and lead production for general civil engineering design on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities.
- Prepare stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports to meet local government agency standards.
- Oversight on EIT and civil coordinator tasks such as Civil 3D production, engineering, and quantity calculations.
- Perform quality control design reviews on multidisciplinary projects from a civil perspective.
- Plan and develop projects or design activities that have a significant impact on major company programs as needed.
- Plan, organize, and supervise the work of a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
- Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity as needed.
- Occasionally serve as a Project Manager on small to mid-sized Projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years design experience managing various civil/site design projects
- Absolutely required: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
- Preferred: Project Engineering and Project Management experience
- Preferred: Willingness to work with and lead project teams
- Preferred: Supervisory experience
- Preferred: In-person office culture

Benefits
Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. The expected compensation range for this position is $129,360.00 - $210,000.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
