Senior Signature/Data Analyst
About the role
Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight Tests. Plan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes
- Deploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data products
- Participate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendations
- Prepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test Targets
Requirements
- Master of Science or Master of Arts degree and 12+ years of experience. OR, a BA/BS degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and 20+ years of experience.
- Interim Secret Security clearance
- Experience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, Electro-optic / Infrared (EO/IR) sensor exploitation, Radio frequency (RF) sensor exploitation, geodesy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team
Desired
- B.S. in Engineering or Physics highly desired
- M.S. in Engineering or Physics
- Active Security Clearance desired
