Senior Shipping Associate, Transportation

Responsibilities

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Building relationships with our commercial carrier partners
• Ensuring carriers follow guidelines in day-to-day operations based on Cardinal Health's policies and procedures
• Freight monitoring and KPI reporting
• Expediting urgent shipping requests
• Handling customer complaints, investigating delivery issues, and reporting outcomes to internal Customer Service Group
• Providing guidance or technical assistance to organizational projects
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duties

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in shipping, preferred
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, adaptable to change and able to reprioritize on short-notice

Pay

$23.50 per hour (will include shift differential)

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm (overtime per business needs)
