Senior SharePoint System Architect/Technical Lead

About the role
You will work with a team of subject-matter experts and clients supporting our federal government client population. You will support SharePoint administration and site collection, perform design and redesign, development and implementation of SharePoint sites and workflows, and work on a team to support and redesign a new site.
Responsibilities
- Provide SharePoint website development, including automation and facilitation of administrative processes using comprehensive knowledge of program support/administrative processes within client divisions.
- Consult with programs regarding site installation, maintenance, and development on an enterprise SharePoint system, including governance, security, and documentation processes.
- Facilitate site implementations by escalating issues and providing alternative solutions.
- Resolve SharePoint operational issues and answer relevant questions through Service Desk Support and ad-hoc support.
- Determine recommended solutions to meet customer needs using complementary tools such as Nintex Online, SharePoint Forms and Workflows, JavaScript, PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Teams.
- Provide analysis, design, and database development using Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server Reporting Services, T-SQL, and other standard development technologies.
- Create efficient and accurate technical documentation of SharePoint sites, ensuring 508 compliance and Section 508 adherence.
- Stay informed of SharePoint processes for internal and external sites and communicate impacts to clients.
- Research and analyze issues for resolution and provide recommendations for all owned SharePoint sites as part of site management.
- Advise on administrative policies and procedures within each client division and share knowledge through publishing, teaching, or mentoring.
- Perform all technical and system administration duties for various SharePoint sites, including development for new projects and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related program.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, including SharePoint Certifications.
- 4+ years of experience in a SharePoint Developer role.
- Proven experience working within an Agile development team.
- Deep knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and development.
- Experience with SharePoint development, including SharePoint Forms, workflows, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience with workflow solutions and the full software development life cycle.
- Expert verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience supporting federal government and public health clients (desired).
- Knowledge of SharePoint security, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
