Senior ServiceNow Consultant (IRM/Responsible AI)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Consultant to assess whether out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities can replace an internally developed platform for enterprise Responsible AI governance, rather than continuing custom development for our client. This is a 2‑month assessment and recommendation engagement — not an implementation commitment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, policy, product, and engineering stakeholders to evaluate current ServiceNow functionality against next‑generation governance requirements
• Map each requirement to a specific ServiceNow capability, clearly categorized as: supported out of the box, achievable through standard configuration, dependent on integrations or custom development, or unsupported
• Validate critical workflows through targeted demonstrations or a limited proof of concept
• Deliver a requirements‑to‑capabilities fit‑gap assessment and a go/no‑go recommendation on transitioning to ServiceNow
• Required Deliverables:
  • Fit‑gap assessment mapping requirements to ServiceNow capabilities
  • Validation of critical workflows (demo or limited PoC)
  • Final recommendation including: required products and licensing, material gaps and trade‑offs, data migration and integration needs, security and scalability considerations, indicative implementation effort and timeline, and ongoing administration/support costs vs. continued internal development

• AI system registration and inventory
• Risk classification and adaptive questionnaires
• Configurable review, approval, exception, and conditional‑approval workflows
• Policy and control mapping
• Compliance evidence and audit trails
• Role‑based access controls
• Reporting and dashboards
• Integrations with internal systems
• Ability for non‑engineering users to update assessment content and workflows as policies evolve

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
• Experience with ServiceNow AI Governance / AI Control Tower
• Configurable assessment and approval workflow design

Skills

• Ability to translate complex governance requirements into maintainable enterprise solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication across business, policy, product, and engineering teams
• Evidence‑based assessment approach that prioritizes standard capabilities and configuration over extensive customization
