About the role
The HVAC Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. MIH Systems Group is seeking both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to support the growing service business.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
- Provide preventative maintenance services
- Service commercial heating and air conditioning systems
- Work within the NYC Metro area
Requirements
- 3+ years solo field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning
- Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems
- Proficient with troubleshooting (mechanical)
- Previous experience with preventative maintenance
- Experience with Aaon, Climatemaster, Multistack Chiller, ClimaCool, VRS System (Samsung, Hitachi, etc)
- EPA Type 1 & 2 of universal certification
- Own hand tools
- Clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred)
Pay
Estimated Salary: $30/hr - $60/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
