Senior Service Home Technician

About the role

Individual that understands the needs of those local seniors, provide general home maintenance and repairs to increase the safety of seniors living in their own homes in Livingston County. Emphasis is placed upon serving those people that are socially or geographically isolated, economically disadvantaged and/or have medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Installing safety equipment (grab bars, handrails)
• Household maintenance tasks (weather stripping, caulking, door/lock repairs)
• Work closely with a contracted entity to ensure task completion

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and current/valid driver's license required
• Minimum of one-year experience, professional or volunteer, in a human service setting

Schedule

24 hours weekly.
