About the Role

The Service Desk Technician’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes triaging incoming phone calls, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving or escalating end user help requests on all corporate hardware and software. The Service Desk Technician will maintain and log all support calls to the support center database application for call tracking and SLA requirements. The Service Desk Technician will also serve as operator when needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in general desktop support with hardware and business applications such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and operating systems (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license or equivalent.
  • Personal computer, personal cell phone, and personal high-speed internet.
  • Basic understanding of computer technology and terms, including operating systems, hardware, office automation applications, and peripheral installations (printers, scanners, monitors, etc.).

A+ certification is preferred.

Pay

Minimum hourly pay: $21.78.

Schedule

  • Full-time (80 hours per week).
  • Temporary position.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt.
