Senior Service Center Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Supporting the Service Center Manager in execution of responsibilities as defined in Hillsboro Aviation’s Repair Station Manual (RSM).
• Sustaining the maintenance quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance on all customer aircraft.
• Maintaining aircraft in accordance with the approved aircraft inspection program.
• Ensuring airworthiness and availability of assigned customer aircraft.
• Coeordinating maintenance logistics to minimize downtime and maximize aircraft availability.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality for the shop environment, tools, and records.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Licenses

• FAA A&P Certificates
• 10+ years maintaining turboprops, jets, and/or turbine helicopters in a GA setting

Preferred Skills/Experience

• FAA Inspection Authorization
• Experience maintaining HondaJets
• Experience maintaining Citations
• Experience maintaining King Airs
• Experience maintaining Caravans
• Experience maintaining Airbus helicopters
• Experience maintaining Bell helicopters
• Factory training for any of the aforementioned aircraft
• Experience with major repairs & alterations
• Experience with non-routine and complex maintenance tasks
• Avionics experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Overtime required during the week and on weekends as necessary.
