About the role
Lead the optimization strategy for Silverback Strategies’ website and digital properties. Oversee keyword research, content creation, link building, and technical SEO initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on SEO goals and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Conduct keyword research and analyze performance metrics to inform ongoing optimization efforts.
- Create high-quality, engaging content that aligns with SEO best practices and business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and other influencers to secure backlinks and improve domain authority.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure SEO goals are integrated into broader business strategies.
- Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and tools to continuously improve performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO, content management, or a similar field.
- Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and results-driven performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Passion for SEO and a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, XML sitemaps, and schema markup.
- Knowledge of local SEO, mobile optimization, and video SEO.
- Experience with social media marketing and content marketing.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce compelling content for various channels.
