Responsibilities
- Develop core functionality for autonomous driving systems integrating perception DNN and map signals
- Generate a real-time 3D world model for planning using data from various sensors
- Enable HD map-free driving in complex urban environments by creating enriched models
- Create reliable models for L3 autonomy utilizing multiple perception sources
- Build static obstacle and occupancy grids, enriching AV operation scenarios
- Lead technology efforts and guide the team in solving advanced AV challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate hands-on within the team
- Ensure algorithms are effective in diverse real-world conditions and comply with automotive standards
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in autonomous vehicles (AV) or robotics
- 2+ years of technical leadership experience
- Passion for robotics and autonomous vehicles
- Strong independent and analytical software engineering skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, especially with multinational teams
- Experience in software development on embedded or automotive platforms
