About the Role

As a Senior Security Software Engineer in Vulnerability Management, you will develop and maintain internal software products and capabilities to drive awareness and resolution of vulnerabilities at scale within Roblox. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through tools and services. You will design and build automated systems to highlight security issues to owners and make vulnerability remediation a first-class user experience. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior engineers in developing secure software and products, incorporating vulnerability management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal software products and capabilities to drive awareness and resolution of vulnerabilities at scale within Roblox.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through tools and services.
• Design and build automated systems to highlight security issues to owners and make vulnerability remediation a first-class user experience.
• Develop tools and features that help make vulnerability remediation understandable and easy across Roblox's entire tech stack and organization.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in developing secure software and products, incorporating vulnerability management methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering, ideally with a focus on security.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C#.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A track record of delivering features and learning new technologies.
• Experience solving operational problems with software-based solutions.
