Senior Security Software Engineer, Applications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a passionate security and development team
• Conduct and write fixes for vulnerability triage
• Review code for secure coding practices
• Evaluate new product features for security design
• Work with teams to ensure long-term security success
• Create preventative code solutions and alerts
• Investigate root causes of security issues and provide fixes
• Engage deeply with product and mission beyond just task completion

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web application security
• Strong skills in code review, security architecture, and pentesting
• Experience working on full-stack projects
• Ability to find and fix common web security vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with web application pentesting tools like Burp Suite
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)
• Communicates complex ideas clearly to varied audiences
• Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities

Pay

$130,000 – $185,000 annually
