Join our API Security Sales Team! We work with world leading companies in every major industry to make the internet fast and secure. As a partner to the Global 500, we collaborate with customers and prospects, aligning Akamai solutions to business needs. We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.

Responsibilities

• Being accountable for your sales target and overachieving on that sales target.
• Working closely with a Sales Engineer and ensuring their time is used optimally.

Requirements

• Experience in digital cybersecurity, API Security, API Gateway and Cloud Service Providers.
• Inside sales/phone selling experience in technology and show evidence of success and progression in role.
• Experience in channel first sales motions.
• History of consistently exceeding individual sales goals and targets.

Pay

For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $245,000 - $441,000/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
