As a key member of the cybersecurity team, you will lead initiatives that strengthen security across applications, infrastructure, identities, and third-party ecosystems. You will architect automated security solutions, enhance detection and response capabilities, and ensure security remains deeply embedded throughout the technology landscape. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, mentor technical teams, leverage AI-driven security capabilities, and work with modern technologies that help protect one of the most complex enterprise environments in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive Security Innovation: Design, implement, and maintain highly automated security solutions that improve visibility, protection, and response across the enterprise. Develop and enhance capabilities supporting: Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Security Governance and Compliance. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that strengthen overall security posture.
• Lead Security Operations Engineering: Integrate security technologies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Partner with infrastructure, development, architecture, and business teams to implement security controls that enable business growth while reducing risk. Build scalable security frameworks that protect enterprise data, systems, and intellectual property.
• Build the Future of Security Automation: Develop security utilities, workflows, playbooks, and automation tools that increase operational efficiency. Leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve threat detection and security decision-making. Create automated responses and action-based security events that reduce response times and improve resilience.
• Protect Against Emerging Threats: Lead investigations and response efforts for security incidents. Conduct proactive threat hunting activities using both manual and automated techniques. Identify vulnerabilities, security exposures, and compliance gaps while driving remediation efforts. Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce organizational risk and strengthen security maturity.
• Influence and Mentor: Serve as a trusted security advisor across technical and business teams. Provide mentorship and security guidance to engineers, administrators, and project teams. Promote a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Workday Security & Identity Governance Focus: Design and maintain Workday security architecture, including domain security, business process security, role-based access controls, and segregation of duties. Engineer integrations between Workday and enterprise identity platforms. Support identity lifecycle management including provisioning, deprovisioning, access certification, compliance reporting, and audit readiness. Implement and support SAML, OAuth, single sign-on, and modern authentication solutions. Drive governance initiatives that support regulatory and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Strong background in Security Operations, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Security Architecture.
• Experience implementing security controls across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments.
• Expertise in security automation, orchestration, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with identity and access management technologies and governance frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of vulnerability management and application security practices.
• Experience integrating multiple security platforms into a unified operational model.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Workday Security Administration and Security Architecture.
• Experience with IAM, IGA, PAM, SSO, and identity lifecycle management solutions.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and federation technologies.
• Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks including NIST, HITRUST, FINRA
