Senior Security Officer/CDO

MTC is proud to operate the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT. Our staff provides quality services to local youth and values dedicated professionals who improve lives.

Responsibilities

• Orderly operation of the center during evenings, weekends, and holidays as directed by the center director.
• Security officer duties and supervision of staff to protect life and property.
• Act as center director in the absence of the director during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Monitor and maintain effective control through personal observations of center-wide activities and facilities.
• Confer with parents, center personnel, and counselors regarding student issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area that sets high standards for a work environment.
• Make decisions in emergency situations affecting the center's operations.
• Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property.
• Schedule guard station coverage to ensure accountability of students, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three years related experience, two of which must be in a supervisor capacity (preferred).
• Directly related experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$25.25 per hour.

Schedule
