Senior Security Officer

MTC operates the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID, providing quality services to local youth. We seek dedicated professionals who are committed to improving lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform security officer duties and provide supervision to ensure safety and security.
• Ensure accountability of students, staff, and visitors by scheduling guard station coverage.
• Advise and train security officers in security procedures.
• Assist in transporting students and reporting and suppressing fires.
• Act as liaison with neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years' experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency are required. A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is also required.

Skills

Security experience, supervisory skills, communication skills, and computer proficiency are essential.

Pay

$20.25 per hour.
