Senior Security Engineer, Blue Team

For our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, we are seeking a Senior Security Engineer (Blue Team) to lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments of third parties and evaluate overall maturity
• Build security tooling and automation, contributing to internal applications
• Execute incident response actions by identifying, investigating, and remediating incidents
• Enhance endpoint security using EDR, application control, and threat detection
• Collaborate with DevOps to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
• Proven experience performing security assessments on third-party vendors and applications
• Proficient in coding with Rust, Python, or PHP
• Experience with MacOS and AWS environments
• Hands-on experience in incident response activities
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of SQL

Pay

$130,000 – $185,000 annually
