8–12 years of experience in Cyber Security, with significant exposure to SOC operations at L3 / Senior Analyst level.
Responsibilities
- Support 24x7 SOC operations in a shift-based environment.
- Conduct security incident investigation and response, including high and critical severity incidents.
- Perform cross-domain investigations (endpoint, network, cloud, application).
- Analyze and correlate alerts using SIEM platforms, preferably Splunk Enterprise Security, including incident workflows.
- Utilize EDR platforms, preferably CrowdStrike Falcon, for advanced investigation and response actions.
- Analyze security logs and correlate events across endpoints, servers, network devices, and security tools.
- Support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) activities.
- Conduct cloud security investigations (AWS / Azure / GCP logs and alerts).
- Handle incident escalations, perform root cause analysis, and support containment and remediation actions.
- Validate escalations from SOC L1 and L2 teams.
- Identify true positives vs false positives to reduce noise.
- Support threat hunting and proactive detection activities.
- Guide SOC L1 / L2 analysts during incidents and provide clear updates to customers and management stakeholders.
- Mentor and technically guide junior SOC analysts.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in 24x7 SOC environments.
- Advanced expertise in SIEM platforms, preferably Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Hands-on experience with EDR platforms, preferably CrowdStrike Falcon.
- Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of incident handling, escalation procedures, and evidence handling best practices.
- Strong capability to independently handle L3 level escalations.
- Experience supporting cloud security investigations (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.

- Strong ownership and accountability in a Senior SOC / L3 role.
- Ability to work effectively in shift-based, high-pressure 24x7 SOC operations.
- Excellent communication skills for guiding junior analysts and updating stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and incident reporting discipline.
