Senior Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing firewall rules to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring the security of the cloud environment.
• Address any identified issues with firewall rules, implementing necessary changes or adjustments to enhance security measures.
• Contribute to the development of automated solutions for firewall rule management, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their firewall rule requirements and provide timely support and solutions as needed.

Requirements

• Must have all 5 of the below items listed in their resume as well as 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Healthcare Firewall Security Experience
• Palo Alto Firewall Experience
• Splunk Experience
• AlgoSec Experience
• Python Coding Experience

Skills

• Demonstrated experience in managing firewall security within the healthcare industry, understanding the unique challenges and requirements in this domain.
• Proficiency in utilizing AlgoSec, Palo Alto Networks technologies, and Splunk for firewall management, configuration, and monitoring.
• Strong background in providing direct customer support, with the ability to effectively communicate and address customer needs and concerns.
• Proficiency in Python coding, with the ability to develop scripts and automation tools to support firewall rule management and related tasks.
• Additional experience with Palo Alto Networks firewall technologies, enhancing proficiency in firewall configuration and management.
• Further expertise in utilizing Splunk for security monitoring and analysis, complementing the candidate's skill set in firewall management.
• Additional proficiency in AlgoSec, providing enhanced capabilities in firewall policy management and automation.
