Senior IT Security Analyst

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supports operational implementation requirements ensuring compliance with information security policy, standards, and guidelines.
• Reports any threats, misconfigurations, or anomalies and assists with remediation.
• Utilizes new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements.
• Develops automated processes to improve efficiency and detection using existing and open-source tools.
• Ensures timely reporting and remediation of discovered security issues.
• Works with others to help remediate security incidents.
• Conducts frequent testing of simulated cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities and subsequently remediate vulnerabilities.
• Keeps up with evolving risks, new developments in the security industry, and industry best practices.
• Supports the development of Analysts and Associate Analysts by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma (or GED).
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in an IT Security or related role.
• A strong understanding of security threats and incident response.
• An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Experience with XSOAR Automation or equivalent tool.
• OT Security experience.
• Scripting/coding experience.
