Senior Scientist

About the role

The Senior Scientist position at Serán BioScience is dedicated to process and product development within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Oral Solid Dosage. This role is full-time and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for oral solid dosage formulations.
• Conduct research and development activities to improve product quality and efficacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Write technical reports and presentations to document findings and communicate results effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D.
• Proven track record of successful process development and optimization.
• Experience with cGMP standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing techniques and equipment.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and analytical tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
