Senior Scheduler
About the role
The Senior Scheduler at Manhattan Construction Company leads the planning and scheduling efforts for major projects and portfolios. They work with project teams and stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, along with excellent communication and client service skills.
Responsibilities
- Set up, organize, and develop schedules for individual projects over 100M in magnitude.
- Lead project teams in schedule development.
- Train and develop schedulers.
- Perform TIAs as required.
- Support resource and cost-loaded schedules as required.
- Support earned value analysis and reporting.
- Create formal 'Basis of Schedule' documents.
- Support pull-planning.
- Interact with clients as a key project team member.
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of scheduling software features.
- Demonstrate understanding of large-scale and complex construction projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis.
- 15 years of industry experience.
