About the role

This traveling position supports design & construction projects across the Heavy Industrial, Commercial, and Aviation sectors. Travel up to 100% of the time to project locations throughout the US, including PA, KS, NC, SC, VA, GA, TX, FL, IA, WY, and additional states as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development and maintenance of project baselines and reporting systems to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review cost/resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules, including budget and schedule development, forecasting and control, earned value analyses, document control, change order analyses, and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain the Planning/Scheduling portion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against established baselines.
  • Assess impacts of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
  • Report schedule status to project teams, company management, and clients.
  • Provide guidance and specialized assistance to resolve project control issues.
  • Attend schedule review meetings at US project locations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience using Primavera P6.
  • Working knowledge of other project controls software (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Timberline).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels of the program management team.
  • Ability to analyze contractors’ schedules during development and active construction, including critical path and resource loading reviews.
  • Ability to prepare scheduling reports for project management teams.
  • Ability to perform Time Impact Analysis.
  • Experience in cost estimating is a plus.
  • Experience in large industrial construction projects preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the United States.
  • Certification from PMI or AACEi is a plus.
