Senior Scheduler

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide schedule updates, and manage implementation throughout the life cycle of various project types.
• Aid project teams to ensure delays are adequately documented.
• Develop contingency options with the team to accelerate schedule.
• Review contracts for specific scheduling needs and profile critical timelines to ensure project schedules show appropriate detail based upon job site requirements.
• Mentor junior schedulers as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of experience including four (4) years of field construction experience on large ground-up projects and a minimum of six (6) years in project scheduling.
• Experience: Working on public works and related public facilities/infrastructure projects.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS office, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6, Primavera Unifier a plus.
• Skills: Ability to independently create schedules using a planner/builder mindset. Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, practices and components.

Value Added

• Certifications: Scheduling certification by agencies such as AACE (PSP) or PMI strongly preferred.
