Senior Scheduler

About the Role

Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm in California, is seeking a Senior Scheduler to support the Facilities Sector. The role involves conducting time impact analyses, assessing potential claims, and participating in change order negotiations. The Senior Scheduler will also perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses to optimize project performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance.
• Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.
• Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims.
• Participate in change order negotiations.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses.
• Identify schedule-related problems and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions.
• Conduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting.
• Review contractor’s weekly and monthly schedule progress, prepare narratives of findings, and present to management.
• Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
• Perform cost analysis in support of design and construction phases of capital projects.
• Analyze actual expenditures versus budget performance.
• Prepare cost-loaded schedules to support comprehensive cash flow projections.
• Understand, interpret, and apply contracts, policies, and procedures within the client's guidelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Advanced proficiency in scheduling software, including Primavera Scheduling Software and Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling principles, theories, and practices.
• Experience with time impact analysis and construction claims.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties.

Pay

Salary Range: $160,000 to $175,000 yearly
