About the role
We are looking for a Senior SAP Order-to-Cash Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution and logistics processes. This role combines solution architecture responsibilities with hands-on configuration and troubleshooting to support an SAP carve-out project. The consultant will assess process impacts, identify remediation requirements, and deliver solutions that support a successful separation of SAP systems and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional architecture and solution design activities for SAP Order-to-Cash processes during a carve-out initiative.
- Analyze existing SAP SD and logistics processes and identify remediation requirements.
- Configure and support SAP SD functionality including:
- Sales Order Processing
- Pricing and Condition Techniques
- Delivery Processing
- Billing and Invoice Management
- Billing Settlement Management
- Support goods movement and inventory management activities by working closely with logistics and supply chain teams.
- Perform impact assessments related to organizational, master data, and process changes resulting from the carve-out.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP OTC process and system issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to ensure successful implementation of required solutions.
- Assist with testing activities, defect resolution, cutover planning, and post go-live support.
- Provide functional leadership and best practice recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document business processes, functional specifications, and solution designs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash processes.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Goods Movement
- Inventory Management
- Billing
- Billing Settlement Processes
- Experience supporting SAP carve-outs, divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale SAP transformation projects.
- Ability to perform both solution architecture and hands-on configuration activities.
- Experience conducting functional workshops and gathering business requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
