Senior SAP Data Services Tester

About the role

This is a remote position. The Senior SAP Data Services Tester is responsible for validating the reliability and performance of SAP implementations, ensuring technical processes map flawlessly to business needs. They design test scripts, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and execute automated tests for major modules like S/4HANA, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional blueprints and requirements into executable test scenarios.
• Conduct unit, integration, performance, and regression testing.
• Troubleshoot bugs, manage test data, and trace defects through tools like SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
• Facilitate UAT, bridging the gap between developers and end-users to ensure go-live readiness and client approval.
• Write and execute test scripts with cross-process functionality in SAP and end-to-end testing experience in multiple SAP modules.
• Work closely with the technical team to identify, document, and resolve issues identified during test execution.
• Develop test strategies and manage large, complex test efforts.
• Participate in test planning, identifying scope and duration of testing for each phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of SAP S/4HANA testing experience.
• Experience with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Knowledge of SAP modules and functional domains (e.g., SD, MM, FICO, or EWM) and their standard transaction codes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 2 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility prior to starting this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, and data mapping.
• Test automation proficiency in enterprise tools like Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or OpenText UFT One.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
• Operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
