About the role
The Infosys SURE unit specializes in guiding businesses within the services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors through digital transformation. As a Package Consultant 2, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities.
- Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP packages, based on detailed business requirements.
- Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
- Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
- Audit ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure customizations comply with security measures and regulatory standards.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Define and execute SAP system migration strategy.
- Prepare technical migration plans, timelines, and resource alignment.
- Collaborate with functional and infrastructure teams for integrated planning.
- Administer and maintain SAP systems including S/4HANA, Business Objects, CPI, and HANA Cockpit.
- Perform tuning and optimization on SAP HANA database.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of SAP systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support SAP application deployments and integrations.
- Manage transport management system (TMS) and perform client copies, system refreshes, and backups.
- Participate in system architecture planning, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Preferred Skills
- Strong client facing experience, great communication and presentations skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Pay
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
- In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, MA: $73,000 to $102,200
- In Washington, DC: $66,500 to $100,300

This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
