Senior SAP ABAP/ Fiori Developer

About the role

As a Senior Developer, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

This position may require travel to project or client locations. The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time, as well as communicating by telephone, email, or face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP Fiori applications using the SAP UI5 framework.
• Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts.
• Implement deployment plans and support knowledge transfer.
• Perform a full range of programming tasks including software integration, external interface development, and technical documentation.
• Design and develop data conversion aspects.
• Develop and build application tables and reports for projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
• Follow quality standards for code reviews and release management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
• Must have at least 4 years of SAP ABAP experience with technical work in SD, MM, FICO, PS, HCM, or PM modules.

Skills

• Hands-on development experience in RICEF and Core ABAP areas, including:
  • Reports: Classical, Interactive, and Module pool programming
  • Interfaces: ALE/IDocs, SXDA, BDCs, BAPI, RFC Interfaces, and File transfers
  • Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots
  • Data Dictionary, debugging, and Performance Tuning
  • OO ABAP
  • Forms: Smart forms/Adobe forms
• Fiori App Development using BAS Tool, RAP Programming, OData Services, Webservices, BTP, CDS View.
• Good communication skills.
• Add-on advantages:
  • Technical knowledge of S/4 HANA Modules
  • Niche skills like PS, PPMO, SAP MES Application

Pay

• In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN: $73,000 to $102,200
• In Washington, DC: $66,100 to $100,200
